I had the opportunity to work on a small but exciting project for the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine. The goal was to design personalized certificates for the recipients of office apartments. The certificates were to be given as a recognition of their service and dedication to the department.
The initial concept for the certificate design was bright and personalized, with a focus on creating a design that would stand out and make the recipient feel special. However, after presenting the design to the client, we decided to take a different approach and create a darker version instead. We believed that a darker design would better reflect the professional nature of the certificates and be more appealing to the recipients.
One of the most interesting aspects of this project was the client’s request to include the actual apartment plans in the design. This presented a unique challenge for me as a graphic designer, but I was excited to take it on. I first had to vectorize the plans, which involved creating a digital version of the hand-drawn plans. Then, I utilized graphic design magic to make the plans appear like 3D plans, giving the certificates a more realistic and sophisticated look.
The final design was a stunning and unique certificate that successfully achieved the client’s goal of creating a special and personalized recognition for the recipients. The certificate featured a dark color scheme that conveyed professionalism and sophistication, while the inclusion of the 3D apartment plans added a touch of uniqueness and creativity to the design. Overall, it was a great project to work on, and I was thrilled to have been a part of it.
