The Youth Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine asked me to design certificates and badges for the attendees of their forum. I was not limited in my creative work, so I saw the solution to the problem in the selection of certain abstract shapes from basic geometric shapes: point, square, and circle. So, combining these shapes and diluting them in the national Ukrainian colors (which was the customer’s wish), I got this certificate:
It was logical to inherit the design of the certificate but add certain features that correspond to this medium. Firstly, I left a space on the front of the badge so that the participant could write his or her name there by hand. On the back of the badge, I added the forum program. In my experience, this solution is an elegant way to make it easier for participants to access it, because the badge hangs around their necks all the time.
